Balance Me Luscious Lips from My Pure
I received Balance Me Luscious Lips free of charge from My Pure, in return for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
It's getting to the time of year when all the Christmas parties start to roll in, and if you're anything like me, normal, everyday lippies seem to dry my lips out making them look unattractive and feeling incredibly sore. It's around this time that I reach for the lip balms but often crave a bit of colour. That's where this gorgeous Luscious Lips comes to the rescue. I really love the packaging as it not only made me feel a bit special, but it would also make an ideal stocking filler! The tinted lip salve contained inside comes in Ruby Red and contains Shea, Mango and Cocoa Butters to help plump, soften and protect your lips against the elements. It also contains Coconut Oil which helps soothe and hydrate.
The tube has an angled head with a small hole making it very easy to apply a decent layer of colour and it helps give really good coverage too. Gently squeeze out the required amount and spread over lips. I immediately noticed that it had a slight minty taste when I applied it which impressed me no end as past experiences have taught me that organic lip products tend to taste a bit meh ...not this one though! It glides on really well and you definitely get instant hydration making lips feel nourished, moisturised and fresh as a daisy. There's also no sticky afterfeel, just a lovely smooth high shine effect.
It's a bit difficult to see the colour well from my pic but the shine you get is fantastic and with just a nice wash of colour, this can be worn either alone or over your favourite red lippy to give it a high shine finish. Being gloss, it only lasted a couple of hours on my lips but that may be the sheer amount of tea I drink, so it did need re-applied quite a few times throughout the day. The handy sized tube means that it will fit in your handbag without too much trouble so you'll always have it handy to top up the colour when needed.
Overall I really loved this product and would have no hesitation in purchasing this myself. I would certainly like to see a few more colours added to this range.
Balance Me Luscious Lips comes in a 10ml tube and is contained in a gorgeous triangular box. It costs £12 and is available to buy from My Pure.

Madara Moonkissed Tinted Lip Gloss from My Pure
I recently received Madara Moonkissed Tinted Lip Gloss from My Pure, in return for an honest review.
My lip gloss arrived packaged in a neat box with a small hole so I could see the colour before actually removing from the box.
Once the lid is removed, you have a nozzle with a flat edge and a small hole in the centre where the gloss will be dispensed from. Simply give the tube a small squeeze and apply the flat end of the tube directly to lips then smooth over. Be careful not to squeeze out too much as this is very easy to do. At least if you don't quite get enough, you can always go back for more whereas squeeze too much, and you're in a mess ...as I was! Regular readers of my blog know that I tend to judge alot of products on smell. I didn't really notice this as having a smell, but once applied to my lips, there was a rather unpleasant taste and then the smell kind of hit me. No disrespect to this product, but the smell reminded me of the ultra cheap lippys I used to buy with my pocket money in my younger days. I didn't like it then, and I don't like it now.
The wording on the box states 'Super shiny natural lip gloss with volume-boosting plant lipids and Northern Rose Hip. Enchants and seduces. Apply generously to lips all day long.' This really excited me!
It's a little difficult to see the colour here as my pics aren't exactly the greatest, but it's pretty close to my skin tone and alot lighter when applied than it looks in the tube. you really do need a generous amount as it doesn't like staying in one place. There is a slight stickiness upon initial application, but this tends to subside after a couple of minutes. I personally felt like I could pull off the perfect pout wearing this. It definitely plumped my lips up and made them appear fuller. The glossiness of this also gave a fantastic shine whilst not being too OTT. This is absolutely perfect to help achieve the natural summer look which is favoured by many and would be great whether used for a daytime look or a more glam evening look.
Sorry I couldn't get a clear pic on my own but you get the general idea ...I hope! Despite the smell (which only lasts a couple of minutes), I absolutely loved this product. It made me feel sexy and special and gave my confidence a great boost. If you're looking for something that's made with natural products and won't feel to heavy on your lips but will go the distance, then this is the gloss for you.
Madara Moonkissed Tinted Lip Gloss is available from My Pure and costs £8.10 for a 15ml tube.

Rimmel London Vinyl Max Lip Gloss
This was my latest mission from Rimmel London , and boy, was I excited about this!! Apart from mascara's, lip glosses are my next fave (and must have) beauty item!
WOW...no ordinary lip gloss here m'aam, Rimmel boast that this is ther most 'voluptuous' wand ever for full coverage in just one stroke resulting in a high gloss shine. It also contains a plumping formula with a magnifying complex to volumize and smooth lips whilst reducing fine lines and wrinkles giving your lips that much wanted fuller' plumper lip look.
Here's a pic of the super wand they mention
My pic really doesn't show just how incredibly large the wand is, but it really does take just one swoop over each lip and you're done...with fantastic results too!
Apologies for the slight 'pout' but hey, I felt so good wearing this, I just couldn't help myself! The colour i'm wearing is 211 DESIRE and personally, I think it's absolutely gorgeous!! My lips were instantly transformed looking fuller which in turn, bossted my confidence no end! The high gloss finish really is amazing, and it lasts through a good few cuppas and meals without needing to be constantly reapplied.
As with most Rimmel London products, the Vinyl Max Lip Gloss is available in 6 fantastic shades, each one guaranteed to make you look and feel superb!
This is one of my new beauty essentials...I would shout it from the rooftops how good I think this is without any hesitation at all, however this review, as with all my reviews, is based upon my own personal opinion and your own may differ.
